No modifications were necessary or made for the NASA 6008 cameras for the
shuttle other than for NASA to put neoprene rings over the front of each
Rollei lens and Heliopan filter to protect the quartz windows in the Shuttle
from possible scratching by contact with the ;lens or filter.
OTOH there were considerable modifications necessary on the Linhof cameras
on the Shuttle. We had to change the wiring, the vacuum pump the paint, etc.
